The pop stars have discovered one major pitfall for real-life couples on camera – the temptation to over-share
Celebrity couple: Saturdays star and her JLS hubby have to watch what they say
They’re the new golden couple of daytime TV, winning high praise for their refreshing natural chemistry.
But married pop stars Rochelle and Marvin Humes have discovered one major pitfall for real-life couples on camera – the temptation to over-share.
For Rochelle, 25, it’s not what to say but what NOT to say about Marvin that causes the biggest headache.
“If something’s on my mind, I’ll say it,” she explains with a laugh. “Sometimes I think, ‘I better not embarrass him with this.’ But then I just end up saying it anyway.”
So far few private details have gone unexposed. First she had a go at Marvin for wearing deep V-neck T-shirts, saying: “He always wanted to dress so he had a bigger cleavage than me.”
Then she revealed how he’d fluffed his marriage proposal with a promise to make her the “happiest MAN in the world”.

Then there was the time loose-lipped Rochelle oh-so-casually mentioned her trip to A&E for a sex-related injury to her eye.
“I don’t know if I have an off button. Perhaps it’s a pause”, she says.
“I process it, and then I think, ‘I might as well say it.’ ”
With the couple hosting This Morning’s Halloween special today, Marvin, 29, could be forgiven if he gets scared as soon as Rochelle opens her mouth. But the couple have vowed not to let work issues cause rows at home.
“We always say that no matter what happens we leave it there, in the studio,” says Rochelle.
“We haven’t had a row yet. But there’s a first for everything. I’m fully prepared for it – I’ll just have to say what I think.”
If they do have an on-air domestic, The Saturdays singer has no doubt who is likely to come out on top.
“I always win – that’s never my issue,” she says with a giggle. “I always have the last word. Happy wife, happy life!”
There’s been great feedback from viewers whenever the couple, who had a celeb-filled wedding in 2012, have appeared on This Morning and Rochelle believes it’s all down to them acting just as they would at home on the sofa.
“I didn’t have to go in and get to know someone new and neither did Marvin,” she says. “It’s just us being us, like we are at home but in front of a few more people.”
Judging by a recent photograph, Rochelle takes togetherness with your husband into a whole new dimension. Out one day with their 18-month-old daughter Alaia-Mai, she was pictured carrying a toy doll of her ex-JLS star husband
“It was so cringey!” she shrieks. “It looked as though I take him everywhere! It’s actually my daughter’s favourite toy in the world, which already embarrasses me enough as it is. She goes through my bag saying, ‘Mummy? Want daddy!’ She
knows it’s him.
It was actually Alaia-Mai who picked out the toy after she recognised her dad’s picture on the box.
“She saw it in Toys R Us and screamed, ‘Daddy!’ It was the weirdest thing. At the minute she keeps biting his head though.”
As if having a doll of your dad is not quite showbiz enough, the other kids at nursery will be blown away when they find out who Alaia-Mai’s stylist is – no less than Niall Horan of One Direction.
He’s a close pal of Rochelle and Marvin and has just splashed out on a £170 Burberry Mac for the tot.
“She’s not actually got that much designer gear because she’s only in it all for two seconds,” says Rochelle.
“So when he bought her that I was like, ‘You’re so naughty!’ She better not get a taste of this high-life business. Niall bought it for the age that she was. And I’m such a mum I swapped it for a bigger size so she could grow into it.
“My mum said, ‘The mum gene has happened to you!
