Doctors, who examined President Muhammadu Buhari's ear infection in London, have reportedly cleared him to travel back to Nigeria next week.
According to Sahara Reporters, the president was likely to leave London for Abuja on Thursday.
A source was quoted as saying that Buhari spent a day at a hospital in London where he underwent a series of tests.
His ear, the report said, got infected after one of his doctors in Abuja "cleaned" it when he complained about a substantial loss of hearing.
A report by News Express, however, indicated that Buhari had been diagnosed with cancer by the doctors in the UK.
The report quoted a source saying: "President Buhari went for check-up hours after he arrived in London.
The hospital has discovered the cause of Mr President’s illness to be cancer of the ear and brain. Let us start praying."
The source reportedly gave the name of the hospital as Royal Hospital London.
