Immediate past coach of the Super Eagles Sunday Oliseh and new FIFA Secretary General Fatma Samoura has joined others to mourn the demise of former Nigeria coach and captain Stephen Keshi.
Keshi died in the early hours on Wednesday of suspected cardiac arrest in Benin City, Nigeria. Oliseh, who was Keshi’s successor in coaching the Super Eagles, wrote on his twitter handle how sad he was to hear the news.
“Horrible news & Sad day as Our legendary Captain & brother Stephen Keshi dies.May his blessed soul rest in peace.we lost an iconic Hero 2day.” Samoura also mourn the late African icon Keshi. “The football family has lost a great member. Heartfelt condolences to family & friends of #StephenKeshi & @thenff”
