Ex-President Goodluck Jonathan's former special assistant on Media, Reuben Abati, has reacted to controversial images showing Zenith bank staff kneeling before Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose.
According to a report, the photos were circulated on Friday and caused an array of reactions across the country after Fayose claimed that the Zenith employees were begging him over the bank's involvement in his governorship election campaign.
The pictures, which have angered many Nigerians, followed the bank's denial of their involvement in the funding of Fayose's campaign.
Abati took to his Facebook page to air his thoughts and urge Zenith Bank to provide Nigerians with an explanation regarding the photographs.
If this is true, @zenithbankplc owes us an explanation if not a clarification. Will they just hurry up and act as responsible corporate citizens? Too many lessons loading, right here.
