President Orders Arrest of HIV - Positive Man Paid to Have Sex With Children

A Malawian man who was paid by parents as part of tradition to have s*x with teenagers to welcome them to puberty has landed in trouble. The man had earlier confessed in an interview.

According to AFP, the Malawian President Peter Mutharika ordered the arrest of Mr Eric Aniva on Tuesday for being paid to have s*x with more than 100 adolescent girls as part of a traditional ritual marking their passage to womanhood.

The order came was after the man from the southern district of Nsanje granted interview to the media confessing to have slept with the girls for a fee of between four and seven dollars paidby each of their families.
