The Sierra Leone Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria Major General Alfred Nelson (retired) has reportedly been kidnapped along Abuja-Kaduna Expressway in the Federal Capital Territory.
According to Punch, Nelson was kidnapped together with his driver on Thursday while on his way to attend a function at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Kaduna.
The kidnappers were reportedly demanding N44 million ransom for his release.
The kidnapping had since been reported to the police, the report said.
Sahara Reporters said that the exact location of the abduction in Kaduna state had not been confirmed, but it happened between Abhuja and a local government area in the Kaduna state.
