The woman behind Gareth Bale: Who is the Welsh winger's high-school beauty Emma Rhys-Jones?

GARETH BALE'S long-term partner Emma Rhys-Jones has everyone talking, after being seen cheering him on from the stands at Euro 2016.

However, little is known about the Welsh footballer's partner, who he met while at high school in Cardiff.

The brunette beauty was raised in Llanishen, just two miles from the former council house where the 26-year-old grew up, and she has always been quietly supportive of his career.

Former classmates remember Emma standing on the touchline watching Gareth whizz past defenders when he played for the school team and later Southampton FC.

"She stayed at home in Cardiff while he pursued his soccer career and she did some hairdressing for a while. Whenever Gareth had time off he would be straight down the M4 to see her and his family," a mutual pal previously revealed.
