President Muhammadu Buhari demands understanding of Nigerians while he deals with the ailing economy

President Muhammadu Buhari has told Nigerians that change cannot be attained on a bed of roses.
According to Vanguard, Buhari, speaking on the background of information released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) which indicts that Nigeria’s economy has slid into recession, on Thursday, September 1, demanded understanding of Nigerians while he deals with the ailing economy.
The president made the plea during a one day visit to Osun state commissioned a multi Million naira Osogbo government high school as part of the activities marking the 25th anniversary of the creation of the state.

Meanwhile, Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has fired a massive salvo at minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun over her statement about the state of the economy.
In series of tweets on his Twitter handle on Thursday, September 1, Fani-Kayode slammed Adeosun for saying that economic recession is just a word and noted that her comments on the state of economy were ‘daft and insensitive’ to the feelings of Nigerians who are the ones bearing the brunt of the harsh economic conditions.
Not yet done, Fani-Kayode, who did not mention Adeosun’s name but aptly described her statement, also mocked her British accent as ‘low class’.
