Nigerians react to MMM’s 1 month ban on withdrawals

Mavrodi Mondial Movement (MMM)

Following the shocking news that the popular money-doubling Ponzi scheme, Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox, MMM has left its Nigerian participants accounts frozen by blocking them from withdrawing their funds along with accruing 30% interest until January, 2017, Nigerians have taken to social media to express their thoughts and feelings on the recent development.

While some participants in the alleged Ponzi scheme have said they were not worried about the temporary ban placed on their accounts, a lot of critics are having a good laugh.

Below are some tweets flooding Twitter by both MMM participants and critics.

Dear MMM Nigeria, Nigerians don't have that patience you're talking about. Pay me what you owe me!

MMM Nigeria has crashed and I found it funny at first, but there are desperate people out there. The economy is shit, can't blame them. Sad.

Meanwhile, MMM Nigeria still maintains that there’s no need for panic, see tweets below.

Dear Mavrodians, keep calm. MMM Nigeria has not and will not crash. This is a step in the right direction. Continue to PH as usual. #MMMPayspic.twitter.com/qh1FlxT1F8
