Ambassador John Fashanu Denies Claim From Young Lady About ‘Toasting’ A Young Woman In Flight

Nigeria’s famous sports Ambassador and the Nation’s crusader of Made in Nigeria goods, John Fashanu Is in the news again. This time, it is around a misconception built by one of his many fans he met on a flight.

The disrespectful and attention seeking fan went on her twitter page accusing Big Fash of trying to ‘toast’ her sister who was sitting far behind. It’s unfortunate the story Is not only misleading but geared towards cheap publicity for the said girl or fan.

Amb. John Fashanu who just returned from London after one month ‎national oriented assignment was misunderstood for being compassionate with fans who kept taking photos and selfies with him on his arrival at the airport and in the plane.

The supposed sponsored publication on the online platforms was targetted to drag his image into the mud by mischief makers to portray him in negative light. When Big Fash was contacted, he simply said it was baseless and does not need any clarification, besides as a celebrity or news worthy personality anything is expected.

“Responding to such inconsequential publication will only demean my personality and give the said lady publicity relevance”. In his words” I have faced more attacks and negative publications, it takes nothing out of me”.

*Good that he cleared the air.John is a fun person and very down to earth,it is very easy to misunderstand such people..The young lady probably misunderstood him becos some Ladies if you say hello to them and smile you have toasted them.I hope this settles it.
